On 20 July 2026, Assoc. Professor Dr. Waraporn Boonchieng, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Aksara Thongprachum and Dr. Pattaranan Munpolsri, welcomed Dr. May Sudhinaraset, PhD, Professor, Department of Community Health Sciences, Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore potential areas for future collaboration in public health, including joint research, faculty and student exchanges, academic development, and other collaborative initiatives. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to strengthening international partnerships and advancing excellence in public health education, research, and global engagement.
